Trendyol Shipping and Desi Fees: A Seller’s Guide

On Trendyol, shipping fees are billed through contracted carriers according to the shipment’s desi/kg value. Desi is the volumetric weight of the package:

Desi = (Width × Length × Height in cm) / 3000

The carrier uses whichever is greater of the volumetric desi and the actual weight.

The shipping threshold

For orders with a basket value above a certain threshold, part of the shipping fee may be covered by the platform; below the threshold it is passed on to the seller. Because thresholds change periodically, check the current rates in the seller panel when pricing.

The payoff of lowering desi

• Shrinking the box by 2–3 cm can drop you into a lower desi tier.
• For light, bulky products (textiles, toys), poly-bag packaging delivers significant savings.
• Saving 5 TL per desi on 500 shipments a month = 2,500 TL/month.
